is scheduled to Taurisano in the days 4 and 5 September 2009 the 5th exhibition of art and culture ART IN "EARTH" , cultural event created by the homonymous local committee, in collaboration with the City of Tauranga's Departments of Culture and Production, and the official sponsor of Scarborough. The event, featuring Dr. Charles Crudo, artistic director and Fioravante Palese, author and curator, is once again its ideal location in the historic center Tauranga City , to make it cozy and charming scenery of an artistic path along which visitors will certainly enjoy a family context.
The exhibition aims to be a showcase of art and artists and a meeting of people in a timeless dimension. The route identified by the organizers permits encounter with painting, sculpture, crafts art, literature, music, street artists, who, during the event will gather in Taurisano from all over the Salento.
The absolute goal of the event is di valorizzare il “ Borgo Antico Taurisanese ” , rivitalizzandolo e rendendolo crocevia di interessi culturali, di offrire la possibilità agli artisti di mostrare i propri lavori, nonché di incrementare nei cittadini la curiosità e la sensibilità verso l’arte e la creatività. La novità di quest’anno è dovuta alla scelta di un tema “ L’ACQUA ” che gli artisti dovranno operare e presentare.
